William Beyer, Senior Pastor

Pastor Bill has served as the pastor of Holy Cross since October 2000, when he came to Clayton to start the church. He is a 1987 graduate of Virginia Military Institute and served on active duty and in the reserves with the U.S. Army, retiring in 2005. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis with a Master of Divinity degree in 1996 and served as a pastor in Charlotte for four years before coming to Clayton. He and his wife, Sue, have an adult daughter, Sarah.

Rebekah Bajwa, Director of Family Ministry

Rebekah started serving at Holy Cross in 2018 and loves working with the families and community. God has blessed Rebekah with a heart for Family Ministry, and the patience and compassion to socialize with children, youth, and adults. She wants to instill a love of learning about Jesus in people of all ages and provide them with the tools they need to cultivate their faith.

Rebekah grew up in California and attended college at Concordia University, Seward, Nebraska. She has been a Director of Christian Education for over 12 years in North Carolina. Rebekah and her husband Wick have two daughters Janika and Prisha.

Victoria Sullivan, Open Arms Director

Victoria was born in Maryland and moved to Clayton, NC in 1999. She studied Early Childhood Education and still continue her studies today! She has been in childcare for over 18 years, starting from the ground up and making her way to be the Director of Open Arms. Victoria has been at Open Arms for over 8 years and lives in Clayton with her husband Cameron and daughter Ashlyn. She is a big animal lover, loves to watch sporting events, and cheers for UNC! Victoria loves working with new families and seeing the smiles on children. Being here is her happy place.

Sarah Elliott, Open Arms Director and Administrative Assistant

Sarah was born and raised in the Adirondack area of upstate New York. While in NY she attended Adirondack Community College for Business Administration prior to entering the medical field & working in the hospital pathology lab and then medical billing and administration. She moved to North Carolina in 2007 and continued working in medical administration until November 2016 when she became an office manager for a local radio station before finally calling Holy Cross her work home in 2020. Sarah lives in the Cleveland area of Clayton with her husband Chris, and their two daughters, Alexis & Rylee. Sarah enjoys helping others, especially children and those less fortunate and is the coordinator for the food pantry at her church in Clayton.

Ginger Urban, Administrative Assistant

Ginger Urban joined Holy Cross as a part-time administrative assistant in April of 2024. In 2001, Ginger graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University where she met her husband of 19 years, Chris. In 2008 they moved to Garner, North Carolina where they currently live with our three children, Danielle; 17, Emma; 14, and Reese; 10. Her family has been members of Holy Cross since 2010 where she also served as an elementary age teacher on Wednesday nights. She loves all things creative and crafty and if she's not in the office, you will likely find her on the soccer field, at the pool or behind her sewing machine. Oh, and ROLL TIDE!!
